Welcome to Malahat Farm
at Muir Creek

Heritage Retreat Cottage and Bed & Breakfast
ESL farmstay

Far away from the hustle and bustle, yet only 1 hour from downtown Victoria, Malahat Farm Heritage Retreat is tucked into a serene corner of Vancouver Island's coastal forest. Enjoy the tranquil farm setting, stay in our delightful 3 bedroom cottage or our bed and breakfast in the main house. Host a workshop or retreat, or enrol in our stay with a teacher program as part of our English Language Farm Stay. Participate in our gardening adventures or simply enjoy fresh seasonal organic produce and eggs. A very safe place for children's adventures and a great farm experience.

Perfectly situated, Malahat Farm offers easy access to the South Island’s world famous hiking and mountain biking trails, kayaking, surfing, whale watching, fishing and beachcombing. Muir Creek beach on the Strait of Juan de Fuca is a few minutes walk from the farm. French Beach, China Beach and the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail are close by. Art galleries, good restaurants, banks, shops and other amenities are a 15-minute drive away in the small town of Sooke.

Malahat Farm at Muir Creek is an ideal spot for book club and discussion group meetings, family celebrations, weddings, retreats and workshops. Contact us for details.

"We both feel rested and relaxed at  Malahat Farm and your hospitality worked its magic once again! Of all the holiday houses we have rented lake-side in the Adirondack mountains, ocean-side in North Carolina and city-side in Vancouver, Malahat remains the Oscar-winning place! We wish you the best of luck with your business and hope to visit again in a year. Regards, Marilyn & Michael."
