We scan paper originals up to 8.5 in x 14 inches as well as transparencies up to 8 x 10 inches, in resolutions to support conventional press applications and web imaging. Retouching and Restoration
| Very often, old photographs are all that is left of a fading memory. They are worth preserving and protecting. Even photos that have suffered the ravages of time and mishandling can often be brought back to life using digital processes, sometimes to the point of actually improving the fidelity of the image. If you have some old and important photos you would like restored, call for information or to set up an appointment and estimates. |

| The photograph on the left was curled, ripped and torn with long creases in the paper's emulsion. It was scanned at very high resolution, colour correction applied and placed in Photoshop for repair. The digital image was then carefully retouched and "re-focused" or sharpened and final colour correction applied. Output to a good quality inkjet printer on high quality stock is exceptional. |

| Here is an old black and white photograph, again the original is on the left. This image was behind glass and the photograph even had fungus spots that were eating into the emulsion. The original was relatively poor both in condition and quality. The result of scanning and digital enhancement is seen on the right. |
